CLINE FAMILY CELLARS
Since 1982, Fred and Nancy Cline have celebrated their love of the land through production of delicious, accessible, and authentic California wines. Today, the couple owns many properties across the state, many of which are farmed with livestock. And not just to produce grapes for wine production; thus, encouraging the important value of biodiversity with their broader philosophy of sustainable farming and agriculture.
Cline produces delicious Chardonnay, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Syrah. However, they are probably best known for their legendary Cline Zinfandel – a benchmark example of this distinctively Californian varietal. Offering consumers a focused yet wide range of flavours, styles, and grapes from sustainably farmed vineyards, the Cline family continues to deliver a lineup of wines in every price range that consistently exceed expectations.

2017 PINOT NOIR SONOMA COUNTY
Sonoma County is one of the finest regions for growing world-class Pinot Noir. The Clines were early pioneers in southern Sonoma County planting Pinot Noir vines almost 20 years ago. The location that Fred Cline selected benefits from a coastal mountain opening that spans from the Pacific Ocean, through the town of Petaluma and on to the San Pablo Bay. In summer, vines experience foggy mornings and cooling evenings balanced by sun-drenched warm afternoons. These growing conditions allow the fruit to hang longer, fully ripen and mature which adds bright acidity and intense flavors.
Cline 2017 Pinot Noir has an extraordinary elegance, and a silky red berry scented bouquet with flavourful layers of raspberry, dark chocolate, cedar and lilacs and a lingering and complex finish.

EXPERT OPINION
“This has as fresh, spicy array of black cherries and berries with attractive oak spice. The palate carries a very bright and fresh core of rich, strawberry and cherry flavor in upbeat style. Drink or hold.” –James Suckling
