JARAL DE BERRIO
The legendary Hacienda Jaral de Berrio is located in historic San Felipe in NW Guanajuato. Its origins date back to the late 16th century and mezcal production since 1764. Today, Jaral de Berrio’s mezcals are produced by the same rigorous methods and still bottled in the hacienda’s main estate. Their unique production process of steaming—not smoking—the mezcales, allows the agave to soften with vapor before grinding. The absence of smoke eliminates flavour contamination and showcases the fully-present notes of the Agave Salmiana, which results in both a pure taste for sipping and a mixing versatility for flavoured cocktails.

MEZCAL JARAL DE BERRIO DOP GUANAJUATO
Mezcal Jaral de Berrio is produced using traditional methods and bottled un-aged off the still, which contributes to its fresh aromas of just-cut grass, papaya, spring blooms, and cream soda. The palate is lightly viscous with flavours of spice, toffee, pistachio, and anise. The finish is smooth and soft, ending with dominant vegetal notes and hints of fig sweetness.
