WINEMAKER’S NOTE:
“‘The Villain’ is a blend of several batches of our best fruit, each picked at the right time to show their best. According to the individual soil type and site climate, we see various expressions of Cabernet in each – and when blended we get a note of complexity that we value, and of which we are very proud.”
EXPERTS:
“Liquorice and black jelly bean, black and red fruit, spicy oak and tobacco. Medium to full bodied, grainy tannin and savoury tobacco and black olive flavours, slightly too tangy acidity, and a pretty long finish with a kind of dried rose perfume. Good stuff. Has a little bit of X-factor in the mix.” –G. Walsh, winefront.com.au
