CHAMPAGNE GARDET
Champagne Gardet was founded in the late 19th century by a local shoemaker, Charles Gardet, who built a winery – and brand – centred on producing the very finest quality Champagnes. Today, this winery is owned and operated by the Prieux family, who continue to celebrate and pursue this singular focus on crafting superior quality Champagne. The Prieux family embraces a careful balance between their deep, abiding respect for tradition, while remaining open to innovation and modern tools. Specifically, where these options improve the quality of the final product.
Oenologist Stephanie Sucheyre, who received her training at Montpellier, brings a diverse perspective and background to her role at Gardet. She has worked in many cellars across France, from Burgundy to the Languedoc. This experience further fosters an open-minded attitude and approach to winemaking that emphasizes quality above all.

CUVÉE SAINT FLAVY TRADITION BRUT CHAMPGNE NV
While sparkling wine is made all over the world, there is only one Champagne. Champagne has become synonymous with quality, tradition, and celebration. The history of world class sparkling wine runs as deep as the chalk deposits beneath the Northern French soil. Typically, Champagne is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier. This superbly valued, non-vintage edition of Gardet, however, is 90% black grapes (45% Pinot Noir and 45% Meunier), lending a powerful structure to a wine already featuring crisp, refreshing green fruit. With the added weight and body, the wine becomes more versatile when pairing with food, yet still extremely enjoyable to sip on its own.

WITH FOOD
Fine sparkling wines, like Gardet’s, are amongst the most versatile and delicious food-pairing wines made anywhere in the world. Working in a variety of ways with different food styles and flavour profiles, this bubbly can be served with light and delicate dishes like ceviche, carpaccio, tartare or sashimi. Or, as a refreshing, bright counterpoint beside much richer dishes like soups or white meats that feature heavier sauces.
